Property Tax Mail outs was sent last week to all property owners in Freestone County, with the higher property values.

The 2020 total Market Value on Roll came out to be $4,104,113,751 with 3.5% under protest or $143,843,910.

$2,766,645,511 was in Real Property, such as land and improvements.  Another $1,337,468,240 was in minerals.

The Net Taxable Value including estimated taxable value of protests came out to be $ 2,400,081,491.

A total Market Value on Homesteads including mobile homes is $651,287,508, with $24,632,660 being for new property.

Taxes not paid before February 1, 2021 become delinquent if they were mailed on or before  January 10, 2021.

The disabled, over 65, and disabled veterans along with surviving spouses must contact the Freestone County Tax Assessor’s office by January 1, 2021 if they plan to pay installments.
