Freestone County Sheriff’s Office arrested 68-year-old David Rose Roth (at right) on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 for Criminal Mischief at a location on Freestone County Road 253, east of Fairfield off of Highway 84.
“I’ve been saying this has been going on for a long time, and I’ve finally got proof,” says Herbert Eubanks.
According to Eubanks, his Aunt’s boyfriend, Roth, has been vandalizing his property for several years, and he finally caught proof of the actions on his surveillance cameras. Photos of Roth tampering with the gate locks and walking around in a drunken manner were submitted to the Sheriff’s office, leading to the arrest by Lt. Robert Willis.
Eubanks says that Roth was arrested and transported in his underwear after giving officers a severe tongue lashing.
Roth was charged with Criminal Mischief between $100 and $750 and bail set at $1,500. He has since bonded out, a criminal defense attorney will be taking care of this case.
