High School Football continues this week in the Area round as all three Freestone County teams won their first playoff game last Friday.

 

Wortham Bulldogs

The Wortham Bulldogs will face off against the Mount Enterprise Wildcats at Wildcat Stadium in Palestine, Texas on Friday, November 22, 2024.

Kick-off is at 7:00 p.m. Wortham will be the Visitors.

No tickets will be sold at the gates, but THSCA, district and senior citizen passes will be accepted. The Bulldogs will be on Visitor side this week.

Adults $7 Students $5. THSCA, District, and Senior Citizen Passes accepted.

NEW:  There will be a Bulldog Walk-thru Send Off on Friday, Nov. 22nd at 12 noon starting at Wortham High School.

Parents…the buses won’t leave until 3:15 or 3:30 Friday, but come watch the walk thru as they prepare to leave Friday!

 

Fairfield Eagles

The Fairfield Eagles will face the Yoakum Bulldogs at Temple High School’s Wildcat Stadium on Friday, November 22, 2024.

Kick-off is at 7:00 p.m.

Fairfield will be the Visiting team and must enter at Gate 3, located on the southwest corner of the stadium.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.templewildcats.com/HTtickets (THSCA, District 9/District 12 passes, Senior Citizen Passes).

Fairfield ISD will have a 1:30 p.m. release on Friday, November 22 to allow our students, staff, and community some extra time to travel safely to Temple to support our Eagles.

NEW:  A Community Bonfire Pep Rally will be held Thursday, November 21 at 6:00 p.m. Park in the JAC parking lot. Bonfire will be in the football field parking lot.

 

Teague Lions

The community is invited to join Teague ISD for a Playoff Pep-Rally and Bonfire on Thursday evening, November 21st, beginning at 6:00 p.m. behind the baseball field.

Come out and support the Lions as they prepare to head to the second round of playoffs.

The Teague Lions will face off against the Hitchcock Bulldogs at Randal Reed Stadium in New Caney, Texas on Saturday, November 23, 2024.

Kick-off will begin at 3:00 p.m.
