The Teague Lady Lions season ended at the area round of the playoffs to the Keene Lady Chargers 62-43.

The bi-district round was against the Lexington Lady Eagles 53-50 at Bremond High School. Nelms and Heggins scored ten points in the first quarter and the Lady Lions defense held Lexington to four points in the first period. Heggins scored nine of her game high 16 in the first half and the Lady Lions led 20-14.

Mallory Steen hit four three pointers in the second half to out-duel the Lady Eagles in the final moments. Destanee Roblow scored 14 and Steen had 13 in the win.

Teague took to Corsicana High School for the game against Keene. Layla Knight buried a three pointer from the baseline to tie the score at 9-9. Keene went on a small run at the end of the period and led 14-12.

Keene scored the next 19 points of the game and took a big halftime lead. Using the timely opportunity to run and solid three-point shooting, Keene built a 32-15 halftime lead and 50-24 at the end of the third. Teague made a run but could not get any closer than 15 points in the 62-43 win.

The Wortham Lady Bulldogs finished fourth in their district and earn a trip to University High School in Waco to take on state ranked Crawford. The Lady Pirates took a 33-14 lead at the half and it rose to 47-25 at the end of the third. The final score was a convincing 59-32 Crawford win over the Lady Bulldogs.
