The Freestone County Area Go Texan / Scholarship Committee celebrated their membership to the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce with a Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
Members of the Committee include Barry Baird, Spanky Solis, Vanessa Solis, Aaron Phillips, Jessica Rieves, Mika Scott, Clayton Turner, Shelby Griffin, Melinda Soliz, Cade Baird, and Chuck Lopez.
Their first annual event, the Freestone County Go Texas BBQ Cookoff, will be held April 29th & 30th at the fairgrounds in Fairfield.
The IBCA sanctioned event includes cornhole tournament, horseshoes, live music, and more.
