A Lunch & Learn is being offered to Fairfield area businesses this Friday, March 31st.
The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fairfield invite you to meet, eat and discover the tools you need for protecting your business and creating new possibilities for the future.
The one-hour event will feature Ken Givens and the staff of U.S. Merchant Payment Solutions and Michelle Bobo with the Texas Department of Agriculture.
As business owners, we often lack the time and resources to research fraud, which can make us popular targets, and hurt our business profits.
Ken Givens will present information on recognizing counterfeit cards, cash and checks to prevent fraudulent transactions that can hurt a small businesses bottom line.
Grants, loans and membership benefits are available through the Texas Department of Agriculture.
Michelle Bobo will acquaint us with several programs, including:
–Texas Capital Fund Infrastructure / Real Estate Program,
–Small and Microenterprise Revolving Loan Fund,
–Texas Regional Event Grant,
–GO TEXAN (TDA’s marketing program) and how membership can help your business.
Join us on Friday, March 31st from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the La Quinta Inn & Suites meeting room, located at 1010 W. Commerce Street in Fairfield, Texas.
