This year’s Christmas on the Square event had a pretty good turn out.

Santa was escorted into town (at top) on the back of a Fairfield Fire Department firetruck. He was welcomed with a large, comfy chair where he visited with area children to hear about their Christmas wishes and if they had been naughty or nice this past year.

Taking home First Place in the ‘Home for the Holidays’ Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 21, 2024, is the Fringe Salon/Laney Lehman with their Frozen themed float.

Winning Second Place float in the parade was Adkins,

and Fairfield United Methodist Church walked away with Third Place.

There were many other great floats and entries in the annual ‘Home for the Holidays’ parade.

Vendors were scattered across the Courthouse lawn and there was an ice slide for the kids to enjoy.

The event closed with a Live Nativity performed by River of Life Church of Fairfield.
