Officially welcomed back by colleagues at Freestone Medical Center last week, Dr. Mark Waweru (far right) shared some of the things he did during his 1-year Fellowship at Jackson General Hospital in Tennessee.
βIt was a great experience,β he said.

His work in Emergency Medicine allowed him to practice and become comfortable with procedures that do not normally come through the clinic. Such things as dislocated joints and various trauma injuries from work accidents, car wrecks or shootings.
Dr. Mark says he gained confidence through repeated treatment and learned how to manage those things.
And, although working in a larger hospital was different, he is happy to be back to FMC in Fairfield.
