Freestone Medical Center is pleased to announce a new relationship with Concord Medical Group for physician care coverage in the Emergency Department.
“We are pleased to provide valued service to our community through the addition of Concord Medical Group’s board-certified physicians,” said Freestone Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Stace Holland. “Concord brings a high level of quality care and customer service to each and every emergency department patient encounter.”
Concord Medical Group has been helping rural hospitals serve local community healthcare needs since 2001, initially in Texas and more recently in neighboring states as well.
“The goal of the emergency care team is to stabilize emergent patients as quickly and completely as possible,” Holland added. “We are committed to delivering the quality of care that area families have come to expect from Freestone Medical Center.”
Expansion and renovation of the emergency department was complete in the fall of 2011. Now, Concord emergency-trained physicians work alongside Freestone’s highly trained nursing professionals who are certified in advanced cardiac life support for adults and children, and who have obtained special training in trauma care.
