This year’s Christmas parade in Fairfield was one of the biggest, so far.
With thirty-five entries, choosing the top three was not an easy task.
The 2018 float winners included:
–1st Place: River of Life Worship Center
–2nd Place: Cub Scout Park #668
–3rd Place: Fairfield Christian Center.
Theme for the parade was Old Fashion Christmas.
Voted Best All-Around parade entry was the City of Fairfield.
“We could never give enough praise to those that volunteer to make this event, and all our events, so successful,” said Chamber Executive Director Brenda Pate and Admin. Assistant Lisa Schick.
They gave a special “shout out” to Freestone Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Ram for furnishing the beautiful rides.
The December 1st event included a Nativity Drama and Petting Zoo by River of Life members, visits with Santa Claus, face painting, ornament making, slime, letters to Santa, and a special visit from Miss Texas, Madison Fuller.
