Flippin’ the Bird? WHAT?!
2020 is coming to an end, so join in with KNES to celebrate with their Flippin’ the Bird 5k run on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the W.L. Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield, Texas.
Proceeds will be benefiting the Freestone Cancer Support Group (FCSG), and is being sponsored by J&S Meat Processing, Hometown Pharmacy Fairfield, Aztec Tire & Lube, Incommons Bank, and Soggy Bottom Park.
There will be four categories; Men, Women, Kids under Twelve, and Teams of Four.
Each category winner will receive a smoked turkey from J&S Meats and , of course, bragging rights.
There is a special prize for the best themed outfit!
The race will start at 10:00 a.m. with the awards ceremony starting at 12:00 p.m.
The fun keeps going though with music, venders and food trucks that will be on site.
J&S will be donating 50% of their food sales from the 5K to FCSG.
Sign up by Saturday, November 14, 2020, and receive some “extra stuffing”, including a discounted registration fee of only $25.00, it will increase to $35 after the 14th.
