The community is invited to join the VFW Post #5872 for a Flag Retirement Ceremony in honor of Flag Day on Saturday, June 14, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Freestone County Courthouse.
If you have a tattered flag needing to be retired, you may drop it off at the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center located at 900 W. Commerce Street in Fairfield or bring it to the ceremony.
The Freestone County Courthouse is located at 118 E. Commerce Street in Fairfield.
That day, tickets will be available for purchase for the VFW Gun Raffle. Don’t miss out on a chance to win.
