The weekly Lake Fairfield Tuesday Night Bass Tournament was held on April 30th with only six fishermen participating. Most anglers were probably concerned with the chance of high winds and rain, but those fishing enjoyed a dry outing with only occasional windy conditions.
Anglers caught numerous fish that night but only three largemouth bass measuring at-or-above the 18 inch minimum were brought to weigh-in. Taking first place and the $120 prize was Billy Patterson of Fairfield with a 5.40 pound fish. Other anglers weighing in bass were Shane Pate with a 4.38 pound catch and Bubba Carr with a 3.75 pound bass.
