Join Local Game Wardens and State Park Staff to learn the basics of outdoor survival, from fire-building to first aid and much more.
Outdoor Survival Basics will be held at Fairfield Lake State Park on Saturdays at the Dining Hall from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The 2-hour classes will focus on a specific wilderness skill to prepare you for a variety of challenges.
–April 8th – Maps
–April 15th – Shelter / SOS
–April 29th – Fire
All classes are for ages 10 and up. Free park entry available for class.
Fairfield Lake State Park, located northeast of Fairfield, offers 2,400 acres of fishing and 20 miles of trails.
