Fairfield Second Grade UIL Participants
Nine students and eight teams took First Place in UIL Academics last month, which put Fairfield Intermediate over the top with a total of 610 points for First Place overall. Both Fairfield’s Intermediate and Elementary campus joined in the December 8th event.
Other schools participating the District-wide competition include Madisonville (454.5 points), Athens (448.5 points), Palestine (262 points), and Mexia (130 points).
The Fairfield students began practicing with their coaches in September, meeting 1-4 times a week, which was evident in their performance.
