It’s Hank the Cowdog, Head of Ranch Security, to the rescue!
Or, at least, to help the rancher and his wife quiet down the resident animals.
Fairfield First Graders act out a scene with puppets under the direction of Gifted & Talented teacher, Rachel Bossier.
During “Hank the Cowdog” month, the students have been creating “Freestone Critters,” based on stories of animals in our county. They have also been writing lyrics for the song, “You Can’t Teach an Old Dog New Tricks.”
The students’ art work will be on display during the Fairfield Fall Fest held Saturday, October 1st on the courthouse square in downtown Fairfield, Texas. The event is hosted by Trinity Star Arts Council (TSAC).
