Final City, School Election List

The deadline for city council and school boards candidates to file their intention to run has passed and there are multiple contested races.

Elections will be held Saturday May 1st, 2021.

Here are the final candidates running:

City of Fairfield Council:
Place 3 -Bobby Nichols
Place 4 -Landis Bayless and Stephen Daniel
Place 5 – Angela Oglesbee

City of Teague Council:
Place 2 – Rhonda Jones and Douglas Allen
Place 4 – Chris Nickelberry
Place 5 – Ryan Matthison

City of Wortham Council:
Incumbents were the only candidates to file. No election will take place and Mayor Pellie Goolsby and Councilmen Cliff NeSmith and Scott Batts will serve another term.

Fairfield ISD:
Two At-Large positions are up for election, with the follow candidates filing:
Kirby Flandry (incumbent)
Josh Carlson
Michael Wren

Teague ISD:
Place 5 – Vicki Dimiceli and Mark Stewart Rodgers
Place 6 – Jason Hullam
Place 7 – Justin Lee

Wortham ISD:
Incumbents were the only candidates to file. No election will take place and Trustee Place 1 – Billy Perez and Place 2 – Doug Miller will serve another term.
