I know, I know, “What does that have to do with Freestone County,” is probably what you are thinking.
The second annual Miss Earth 2019 is the answer to that question.
Friday, December 5th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fairfield ISD Auditorium a selection of the 2020 senior boys will take to the stage to see who Miss Earth 2019 is going to be.
The pageant was popular back in the 1990’s, and it has been brought back to help raise funding for Project Graduation.
There are three categories the boys compete in; Native Country Wear, Talent, and the Evening Gown with Interview.
Each boy will represent a different organization at Fairfield High School.
The contestants are:
–Lex Thompson (Miss Brazil) for FFA
–Logan Todd (Miss France) for Student Council
–Sergio Izquierdo (Miss Mexico) for Eagle Publications
–Devin Johnson (Miss Italy) for Drama Club
–Chris Scott (Miss USA) for Band
–Chandler Noble (Miss Spain) Flags and Twirlers
–David Thomas (Miss Australia) for Interact Club
–Carl Daniels (Miss Columbia) for FCCLA
–William Simon (Miss Greece) for Eagle Publications
–Joey Davis (Miss Argentina) for Spanish Club
–Justin Abram (Miss Africa) for FHS Cheer
This exciting night will have Athletic Director John Bachtel as the Master of Ceremony.
The judges panel will consist of; Miss Freestone County Teen Jaysa Smith, Anne Lucher Hunt (Former Miss Freestone and The Edge Dance Company owner) and DA Brian Evans (a proud former Miss Earth winner).
Tickets will be $5 at Fairfield High School before the event. Tickets will be $10 the night of the pageant for adults, but only $5 for students.
Proceeds go to Project Graduation; The drug and alcohol free Graduation Celebration is a safe and fun activity for Juniors and Seniors on Graduation night.
