Homecoming for Fairfield High School will NOT be happening this Friday.
Fairfield ISD, along with the 8-3A District Executive Committee, decided on Monday, September 28, 2020 to make changes to the Varsity Football schedule due to COVID-19 related reasons.
The 8-3A District also includes Teague ISD.
There will be makeup days that schools are able to use, with the next football game not being until Wednesday, October 14, 2020 for Fairfield Eagle players.
Yes, Wednesday, and other days of the week are going to be utilized to accommodate the situation.
Game times are not decided yet; be sure and check with the school for more information.
The Fairfield Varsity Football schedule is as follows:
–Wednesday, Oct 14th @ Eustace
–Tuesday, Oct 20th vs Malakoff
–Monday, Oct 26th @ Groesbeck
–Saturday, Oct 31st vs Kemp (HOMECOMING)
–Friday, Nov 6th @ Teague
Junior Varsity and Junior High Games will not be changed with the exception of Malakoff, but a definite date was not decided as of press time.
