ADVANCING TO THE AREA CHAMPIONSHIP is the Fairfield Eagle baseball team. The crew fell to Little River Academy (2-0) on Thursday but went on to defeat the Bees 15-9 on Thursday and 4-3 on Friday.
They will face off with the Whitney Wildcats in a best of three series at Ennis High School starting this Thursday. Game 1: Thurs., May 8th at 7:00 p.m., Game 2: Fri., May 9th at 7:00 p.m. and Game 3 (if needed): Sat., May 10th at 2:00 p.m.
