A car wreck on Thursday, August 2, 2018, resulted in the death of Freestone County woman, 25-year-old Natalie Harris.
Reports say Miss Harris was traveling eastbound on Highway 84, headed to work at TDCJ – Boyd Unit when her vehicle ran into the back end of an 18-wheeler.
The rig, driven by Fairfield man Clifford Jones, was stopped, waiting to turn off of the highway when the accident occurred.
Miss Harris was deceased when rescue teams arrived on scene.
Mr. Jones had no injuries to report.
Responding to the incident were Fairfield, Teague, Dew, Mexia, and Kirvin Fire Departments, Teague EMS, Justice of the Peace Theresa Farris, and area law enforcement.
