It is October, which means the temperatures are dropping, pumpkin spice is in the air, and the spooks are out to get you.

As with everything this year, COVID-19 has punched the fun levels down, but not completely.

The Freestone County Courthouse has a beautiful fall decoration on the front lawn that is just a perfect photo op. The front page makes sure that everyone knows about that.

The City of Fairfield, Creations Flowers and Gifts, along with Cuckleburs Trading put together this marvelous display, so make sure and give them a thank you.

H&R Block in Fairfield, Tx has also put together a beautiful photo op for families to come and enjoy during the fall season.

Friday October 16, 17, 23, and on the 24 come out to the Haunted House at Enforcer Educational Services located at 424 TX-75, Fairfield, Tx.

It is only $3 dollars to get in, but more donations are always accepted. The Trooper Damon C Allen Memorial Foundation is hosting this spooky event, so head on out for a great time and a great cause.

Finally, do not miss Boo in the Park, on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. This Drive-Thru event will still have all the candy and fun, but with the addition of decorated cars.

Worth the Drive

The 2nd annual Blackcat Boo Bash in Mexia, Tx will be a trunk or treat event with live music, face painting and food trucks held on Halloween night.

The Waco Haunted Houses are open every weekend through Halloween, just $22 dollars gets you access to both locations.

World of Khaos in Tyler, Tx is ready to scare you to your core Friday and Saturday nights through October, plus Sundays through Sunday, November 1, 2020.

Looking for a Corn Maze? Head out to Venus, Tx for the JM2 Farms Corn Maze, it is a five acre corn maze, surrounded by fun.

There will be a horse drawn carriage ride, food, a shop, games, and farm animals.

The Haunted Drive is a unique drive-thru haunted house, well not a house, but a drive.

Located in Splendora, Tx this drive has been featured on two different news stations, and brings the scares while you drive.
