Faith Fellowship Baptist Church in Fairfield will host their annual Vacation Bible School event this Saturday, August 3rd.
Throughout the day, children pre-K through 6th grade will engage in a variety of activities set against a vibrant beach-themed backdrop.
‘Breaker Rock Beach’ emphasizes exploring God’s unchanging truth in a world full of shifting sands. The church is decorated throughout in a beach type setting with lots of animals, birds and sea creatures.
Activities will include Bible study, learning about missions, crafts, waterslide activities, recreation, music with hand motions, snacks, food, drinks and snow cones. Kids will be challenged as they discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love.
The event culminates with a family program from 1:45-2:45 pm in the sanctuary. A family celebration will be held from 3-4:30 pm and will include food, crafts and a large water slide. This will be a great opportunity for families to come together, celebrate the day’s experiences, and enjoy a time of fellowship.
Sunday, August 4th will be a special day as well with all family members encouraged to attend the morning worship service at 10:45 am. The VBS kids will be performing some of the songs and hand gestures they learned on Saturday. Come make lasting memories and strengthen your faith in a supportive community setting.
Kids ages pre-k through 6th grade are invited to attend. Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the day. Pre-registration is available on the church’s Facebook page or parents can register their children on the day of the event from 8:15-9:00 am at the church.
