As the dry conditions continue across our state, the City of Fairfield is keeping a close watch on our water resources.
At the present time, we are not experiencing any shortages.
However, the city is asking all water customers to follow these guidelines.
–Water lawns between 5:00 a.m. and 9 a.m. or 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight
–Sales of water to Bulk Haulers will be discontinued until further notice.
–Practice water conservation and minimize or discontinue water use for non-essential purposes
Taking these simple steps can prevent stronger restrictions later, reduce your water bill and save this precious resource for us all.
As the summer progresses, the city will keep the citizens informed. If you have questions or concerns, contact City Hall at 903-389-2633.
