Post members also agreed that in 2018, the Post meeting would continue to be held at Sam’s on the usual dates and time which are the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Roger Brooke, the Post Commander, extended an invitation to any veteran in Freestone County who has had combat service in the military, to attend the Post meetings.
Commander Brooke added “We appreciate the sacrifice that all veterans made to keep our country free and we are honored to support our fellow veterans whatever their needs may be.
In the coming year, we plan to redouble our efforts in direct service to veterans as well as to increase our efforts in service to the community at large.”
