The Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association held a Regional Meet in Fairfield on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Schools from Region 3, both Division 2 and Division 3, brought their top athletes to compete.

Tylie Bruce focuses on her squat, with hopes of another run at State.

Fairfield was proudly represented by sixteen lifters, whom fought their way to the 1st place Trophy.

Charity Starr and Coach Kevin Childers celebrate her lifting the required weight goal for automatic advancement to state competition. She also placed second in her weight class.

Head Coach Kevin Childers also took home the “Best Coach” award, which was well-deserved.

Madi Isaacs takes a deep breath before pulling her deadlift, proven succesful by the trophy she won in this event.

Team points are earned by combining individual ranking, giving each competitor a chance to contribute.

Bailey Jones is determined to do her personal best for senior year.
