A FAIRFIELD MAN WAS NAMED STATE CHAMPION in the Texas ASA State Archery competition on Sunday, August 9, 2020 in Abilene, Texas.
Marvin Mullen (center) won two buckles: Shooter of the Year and State Champion. He was sponsored by Outdoor Country, west of Fairfield, owned by Jack Hale, and Mathews Archery.
Also placing in the competition were Marty Chambers (left) who place 3rd, and Leon Levinsohn (right) who place 2nd in the Texas State Shoot.
Both gentlemen are from the DFW metroplex area.
