Announced April 1, 2020: In light of the latest Executive Order (GA-14), that was issued on March 31, 2020, the Fairfield Library will suspend the “Drive-Thru Pick Up” option at this particulate time. We are very thankful for this community and want the very best for each of you. Please stay safe!
Fairfield Library has worked hard to make sure everyone in the surrounding area has plenty to keep them occupied.
While you cannot go into the library, they have set up a system to allow people to drive up and receive their books.
Tuesdays and Fridays will be pickup day from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. so make sure and reserve your books, up to ten per cardholder, by midnight the previous night on fairfield.biblionix.com/catalog/
It will notify you that your books are ready, which means that they have been pulled and will be available the next day during pickup times.
The library is also working to help supply crafting materials for children, limit one per child, to use at home during this time.
The crafting response has been overwhelming, and they are looking to continue next week.
Keep an eye on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/FairfieldTxLibrary/ for more information on the availability of the crafting grab bags.
If you have extra crafting supplies, consider contacting the library to see if they could be of use.
They are also providing a Wi-Fi hotspot outside the library during this time.
Watch for Story Time videos to drop Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
