Fairfield ISD’s Homecoming is this week, Friday, September 13, 2024, and Spirit Week is in full swing!
This year, the Eagles will play Brownsboro on the Home Field, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Prior to the start of the game, Homecoming Queen will be announced, and her court will be introduced. The stands fill up quickly, so be sure to arrive early!
This year’s nominees for FHS Homecoming Queen include (at top) seniors Angelina Cobb, Emma Hill, Rylie Longer, and Addison Posey.
Class Duchesses (below) are Samaya Wiley – Junior, Addison Shipley – Sophomore, and Aaliyah Nash – Freshman.

A Pep Rally will be held that morning beginning around 7:45 a.m.
There will be a Homecoming Dance for High School students on Saturday, September 14th at Twisted Vines Event Center, from 8-11 p.m. Tickets are $20 per student and may be purchased at the High School office or at the door. Snacks and drinks provided. This dance is for High School students only. If you invite someone from another school, please let Mrs. Faughn know in advance.
The Intermediate, Junior High, and High Schools will be dressing up for Spirit Week. Their themes are as follows:
High School
Monday – Jersey Out
Tuesday – Rhyme Without Reason
Wednesday – Color Block: Freshmen – Yellow; Sophomores – Green; Juniors – Blue; Seniors – Pink
Thursday – Movie Character or Celebrities
Friday – Eagle Spirit (If wearing mum or garter, please tape bells prior to arriving at school)
Junior High School
Monday –Movie character, actor, or actress
Tuesday – Favorite teacher
Wednesday – Favorite western gear or surfer/Cali girl
Thursday – Eagle Gear: 6th Grade – White; 7th Grade – Gold, 8th Grade – Maroon (If wearing mum or garter, please tape bells prior to arriving at school)
Friday – Anything you are a fan of (sports team, favorite color, favorite singer, favorite decade, etc)
Intermediate School
Monday – Wear a Hat or Cap
Tuesday – Pajamas
Wednesday – Favorite College Shirt
Thursday – Tie-Dye
Friday – Eagle Spirit (If wearing mum or garter, please tape bells prior to arriving at school)
Class Reunions
The Classes of 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962 and 1963 will have their reunion at Ward Prairie Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
Class of 1969 will host their reunion beginning 1:00 p.m. at El Jimador Mexican Grill in Fairfield on Sunday, September 15th. For more info, contact Sherry Brackens at 903-389-2882 or David McAdams at 903-389-3344.The classes of 1973, 1974, & 1975 will be holding a reunion on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 5:00-10:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Golf Club at the Vineyards.
The Class of 1994 will have their 30th Reunion on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Twisted Vines Event Center from 6:00 p.m. to Midnight. All classmates are invited with one adult guest. Cost is $40 per person through October 1st, and $55 per person after October 1st. A Fajita Dinner will be served. There will be a Cash Bar available, music, activities, photos, and more.
