Sharing information about STARR Resiliency Agency with the women of Fairfield-Harmony Presbyterian Church on March 13, 2024, were Director of Strategy and Grown, Lashanda Marshall, and Case Manager, Karen Daniels.
The two met with the Women of the Church at their luncheon held at the church located at 119 W. Main Street in Fairfield, to discuss Fairfield’s temporary foster care facility for children ages 5 through 17.
The agency provides a safe environment for up to 90 days to children who are in immediate physical danger within the Texas Department and Family Services system. All children living at STARR attend one of the Fairfield ISD schools.
Attendees were able to inquire about the children’s immediate necessities and what other needs are for the facility. They also brainstormed ways to help get others in the community involved with this program.
