As a result of being in Paramedic school Ashley has had the opportunity to obtain a few certifications as well. Such as ACLS (advanced cardiac life support), AMLS (advanced medical life support), EPC (emergency pediatric care), and PHTLS (prehospital trauma life support).
“I have enjoyed furthering my education and look forward to learning more as my career continues. I have absolutely loved my job with Fairfield EMS, since day one. It’s not very often you find a job where you love who you work with, what you do, and who you work for. One word I would use to describe this award would be ‘proud’. Not necessarily of myself but of our company and what we do for the community. I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to win this and definitely would not have been able to do it without some key factors- my coworkers for encouraging me to better myself, our director, Billy Perez, for encouraging me to get into EMS in the first place and for helping me along the way of school as well; and especially my supported husband and family.”
“I am very proud of Ashley’s accomplishments! Ashley is dedicated and compassionate to her patients and strives to stay well trained and educated, to provide the best patient care that she may give. Congratulations Ashley and a job well done!”, Billy Perez Director of Fairfield Ambulance Service.
