The local 14U Division Fairfield Elite Select Volleyball team played in the Under Armour Open Tournament in Frisco, Texas on Saturday, January 21, 2017, taking second place in the Gold Bracket! There were a total of 20 teams in the division and it was the Fairfield group’s second tournament. The girls are coached by Dori and Marty Harkcom, of Fairfield.
The team consists of the following young ladies:
“The Fairfield Elite girls played their hearts out! We are very pleased as coaches with their effort and determination throughout the day. We have made tremendous progress over the last 2 months,” Dori Harkcom stated.
The girls played a total of 13 sets on Saturday. The first place team in the championship game was ranked #35 in the North Texas Region. This young team has definitely left an impression!
The team roster consists of the following young ladies from Fairfield, Westwood, and Elkhart: #1 Laykin Harkcom, #3 Alyssa Thorne, #5 Audrey Archibald, #7 Rileigh White, #9 Jaci Weston, #10 Carson Carroll, #13 Emily Chavers, #20 Brandi Sandifer, #21 Peighton Mays, #31 Kelli Jo Richardson, #4 Ally Robinson, and #16 Alyssa Williams.
