The hard work of Fairfield Eagle athletes was recognized and honored during the FHS Athletic banquet on Monday, May 22, 2023.

Boys- 15 Regional Qualifiers, 1st Place Team at Regionals, 4th State Qualifiers and 1st State Alternates (Jose Gutierrez, Evan Chavers, Landon Salinas, & Treyden Johnson)
Softball- Finish 3rd Place in District: Bi District Finalists
Baseball- 2nd Place Finish in District: Bi District Finalists
Girls Track- District Champions, 1st Place Finish at Area and 1st Place at Regionals, 3rd Place at State, 10 Area Qualifiers, 10 Regional Qualifiers, 9 State Qualifiers (Shadasia Brackens, McKinna Brackens, Avery Thaler, Madox Mitchell, Lillian McBean, NaKayla Conner, Jimilyah Nash, Emma Jo Smith, & Kaylee Williams)
Boys Track- JV won the District Track Meet, 8 Area Qualifiers
Boys/Girls Tennis- 4-1st Place finished,6-2nd Place finished, 3-3rd Place finished. 3rd Place finished in girls’ singles at District.
Boys Golf- 2nd in District: Regional Qualifiers
Girls Golf- 5th at District, Allie Hughes Qualified for the State Tournament and Finished 10th at the State Meet.

Special Year-End Awards:
–Most Outstanding Athlete award was presented to Rex Bean and McKinna Brackens.
–Fighting Heart award goes to Eli Martin and A.J. Serrato, and Lillian McBean.
–Most Improved award went to Cameron Cockerell and Avery Thaler.
Thank you to the Fairfield Booster club for hosting this event, and for this year’s purchase of $28,000 worth of equipment for the Athletic Program.
The Booster club is growing, and includes Cody Roller – President, Becca Thaler – Vice-President, Brian Whitaker – Treasurer, Marion Combs – Secretary, and Emily Beaver – Reporter.
Thank you also to School Board members, as well as District and Campus Administration. They are first class.
