City of Fairfield Councilman, Place 1, James Tyus, announced his resignation as of Tuesday, August 26, 2025, during a special called meeting if City Council.
This position will be up for reelection in the Spring of 2026.
Council is expected to appoint someone to fill the remainder of his term at a later date.
