Sworn in as Fairfield’s newest Council member is Landis Bayless (left) prior to the council meeting on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Mayor Roy Hill (right) talked him through the official documents before handing Bayless his official name plaque, as he took his place on the council. Bayless is fulfilling the unexpired term for Place 4, left vacant when Jerry Don Sanders resigned.
