Farmers State Bank hosted an Open House on Friday, March 24, 2023 to officially introduce Vice-President / Manager Dana Tate (top right) to the Fairfield community.
Farmers State Bank is pleased to introduce Dana Tate as the new vice-president and manager of its Fairfield branch. Born and raised in Fairfield, Ms. Tate brings with her the understanding of the community and a lifelong commitment to its continued growth and success.
Having graduated from Fairfield High School in 1993, Ms. Tate continued her education at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Her service in the United States Air Force took her all over the world—from Del Rio, Texas to Seoul, South Korea. During this time, she served as an engineer, project manager and protocol officer while she raised her three children, Hensley, Nick and Jake.
As her children moved off to college, and her military travels had concluded, Ms. Tate began looking forward to a new chapter. “Hometown roots run deep. Having lived so many years abroad, I am looking for an opportunity to build my next career close to home’, Tate said. She is engaged to be married to Russell Maggard of Teague, TX and adds two stepsons, Barrett and Blake, to her family.
Dana has decades of real estate experience in a number of states, and a strong background in mortgage lending. She is innovative, experienced and ready to build an exceptional team to provide top-notch service in all aspects of local banking. “There are many nameless, faceless choices in banking today, but I am committed to cultivating the personal and professional relationships that make Farmers State Bank the best choice for our rural communities.”
