Doane University of Nebraska’s baseball pitcher, Kaden Crawford, has been named Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Pitcher of the Week for games played between February 17-23.
Crawford, a junior from Fairfield, Texas, picked up a win in game one of Doane’s four-game series against Missouri Valley.
He went 6.0 innings, allowing one run on four hits while striking out eight batters.
Crawford improved to 2-0 on the season as he set the table for the Tigers’ four-game sweep of the Vikings. Doane is now 7-1 on the year.
The Tigers will host Clarke (Iowa) on March 1-2 in Crete, Nebraska, for their next four-game series.
