A new Christmas event was enjoyed on Saturday at the fairgrounds in Fairfield: Christmas at the Campsites.
Lending a few fingers to the melody is 6-year-old Andi Ferguson who joined in singing Christmas carols with the distinguished Mr. Charles Dickens (a.k.a. Leslie Freeman of Freeman’s Flowers) who shared a campsite with the Emmons family of Armadillo Emporium.
Hosted by the W.L. Moody Campsite Association, this community event was quick to bring out smiles and laughter.
Campsites were decorated with lights and evergreens.
Churches, organizations, businesses and individuals welcomed visitors with Christmas carols, hot cocoa, and LOTS of sweet treats.
There were also several options for purchasing gifts for the season, as well.
We certainly look forward to a repeat experience, next year!
