A graveside service for Elbert Manor, 50, will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Cade Cemetery in Streetman. Pastor Dan Vail will officiate.
There will not be a public visitation.
Mr. Manor passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at his residence in Streetman.
Elbert Manor was born on June 11, 1970 in Aurora, Missouri to parents Robert & Nellie Berkstresser Manor. He graduated from Buffalo High School Class of 1989. Elbert worked at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for many years. Since 2007 he had been the Kennel Sergeant. Mr. Manor enjoyed raising Beefmaster cattle. He was a member of Caney Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nina Manor of Streetman; two children, Paige Emmerich & husband Evan of Katy, and Lane Manor of Conroe; two stepsons, Roger Grube of Dawson, and Dan Grube & wife Heather of Coolidge; two step-grandchildren, John Henry Grube and Starla Grube both of Coolidge; his mother, Nellie Whiteland & husband Norm of Gatesville; three sisters, Sarah Manor of Aurora, Colorado, Jackie Manor of Tatum, and Carla Jones & husband Terry of Centerville; father-in-law, Ray Newsom & wife Parthena of Buffalo; numerous other relatives and friends.
Mr. Manor was preceded in death by his father, Robert Manor; and one brother.
