Eight students of Wortham High School celebrated their course completion of the school’s inaugural EMT Academy and were officially pinned by school officials.
2022 EMT Class grads are:

–Veronica Gutierrez
–Brenna Nicole Lewis
–Yudeisy Naydelyn Rodriguez
–Lauren Cate Samford
–Kenlie Kole Stuver
The ceremony was held Tuesday, May 10th at First Baptist Church CLC in Wortham, Texas.
Students and their families were welcomed by WISD Superintendent Melissa Bosley, and WHS Principal David Hayes gave opening remarks.
EMS Instructor, Teresa McLaughlin, gave the address, and the pinning ceremony was directed by AmyJo Miller, Academic Advisor/CTE Coordinator.
Graduating students also participated in the ceremony, ending with the Benediction by Pastor Justin Colquette.
