Eddie Tarrant, 74, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at his residence in Fairfield.
A private gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
He was born in Cooper, TX, but grew up in Fort Worth. Eddie shared over thirty-four years together with the love of his life, Claudine. He worked as a heavy equipment operator all of his working life, many of those years with Fairfield Trucking Co. Eddie loved competing in BBQ Cookoffs, coon hunting, and just being with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Claudine Tarrant of Fairfield; four children, Michelle Noll & husband Mike of Kilgore, Veda Jones of Fort Worth, Richard Wright & wife Leanne of Friendswood, and Alicia Daniel of Willis; fourteen grandchildren, Kristina Flannery & husband Tim, Ashle Crowley, Justin Bachman & wife Ivy, Destin Wright, Tyler Williams, Colton Capp & girlfriend Harley Hornik, Kalin Campbell, Eric Franklin & wife Mekia, Bud Jones, Brad Bonner & wife Adalelia, John Lindsey, Hannah Barfield, Kassie Barfield, and Ryan Russell; three great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Woodcock, Delaney Bachman, and Lilith Bachman; one sister, Nancy Carroll Coffey & husband Johnny of Cleburne; one brother, Donnie Tarrant of Fort Worth; other relatives and friends.
Mr. Tarrant was preceded in death by his father, “Pops” Tarrant; his mother, Eula Pierce; one brother, Burl Tarrant; and a baby sister, Janice Tarrant.
