Earn Bragging Rights in This Year’ Peach Cookery Contest

Calling all Cooks, Bakers and Chefs!

The 2021 Fuzzy Peach Cookery Contest will be held Saturday, July 17th.

Entries will be judged on taste, texture, appearance, peach flavor, and creativity.

Contest will be open to all ages. Divisions are Youth (16 & under) and Adult.

All entries should be turned in between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon to Desserts by MommaCakes on the west side of the courthouse square in downtown Fairfield, Texas.

Judging will begin at 12:10 p.m. by members of the Fairfield History Club.

Winners will be announced by 1:30 p.m.

Anyone may enter as many dishes as they wish. Cost is $5 per entry.

Categories include: Cake, Pie/Cobbler, Other Desserts, Ice Cream, and Non-Dessert.

Any type of peaches may be used.

Cash prizes will be awarded.
