Early voting ends Friday, November 2, 2018.

Freestone County voters will be electing County, State and National candidates.

Also on the ballot this year is a Special Election for the purpose of “Changing Freestone County from Tier 1 county status to Tier 2 county status for purposes of municipal annexation as described by Chapter 43 of the Texas Local Government Code.”

Voting “For” this Proposition would require cities to get approval from impacted residents before they could annex property.

Voting “Against” the Proposition keeps the current annexation process in place.

EARLY VOTING will be held at the following locations:

–Fairfield Conference Center:  Mon. – Fri. | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. thru November 2

–Teague City Hall:  Mon. – Fri. | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. from October 29 thru November 2

The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 with polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

–Kirvin #6:  Kirvin Baptist Church Structure, #200 Main Street, Kirvin

–Wortham #7:  Wortham Community Center, E. Main Street, Wortham

–St. Elmo #8:  Southern Oaks Clubhouse, 111 Southern Oaks Drive, Streetman
