Early Voting Begins Tuesday, Feb. 17th for Primary Elections

Early voting begins this week in the Republican and Democratic Primary.

Early Voting

In-person early voting will begin Tuesday, February 17, 2026 and end on Friday, February 27, 2026.

Freestone County voters may cast their ballots early at one of two locations:  Fairfield Civic Center (Green Barn) located at 839 E. Commerce Street and Teague Civic Center located at 515 Main Street.

The Fairfield location will be open February 17-20 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; on Saturday, February 21 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and February 23-27 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Teague location will be open February 17-20 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and February 23-27 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Election Day

Primary Election Day will be on Tuesday, March 3^rd with polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
