Dorothy Lee Nevills, 92, formerly of the Lanely community, died Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Whitehouse, Texas. Graveside services were held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Dew Cemetery with Pastor Mike Blumn, pastor of the J-Bar-C Cowboy Church in Mt. Selman, TX officiating. Interment followed.
Mrs. Nevills was born January 6, 1927 in Woodward, Oklahoma to parents Ted and Hattie Rose Seeman. She married Elmer Luther Nevills in May 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1994. Mrs. Nevills has been a resident of Troup, Texas since 2004. She was a long-time active member of Grace Tabernacle Church between Dew and Lanely. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Gloria Jean West and husband Glen of Troup, TX; Shirley Missildine of Teague, TX; two sisters, Ellen Floyd and husband Larry of Rock, KS; Eudell Zoucha and husband Ted of Florida; two grandchildren, Leslie Missildine of Troup, TX; Mark Missildine of Houston, TX.
