Public access to the Freestone County Courthouse will change next month.
Sheriff Jeremy Shipley met with County Judge Linda Grant, and others, regarding courthouse security at a meeting held on Tuesday morning, March 27th.
During the meeting, it was agreed that several updates are needed in regard to public access to help protect courthouse employees and members of the public.
Changes that will be made by the beginning of May include the following:
–East and West facing basement doors will no longer be open for public access.
