–Annual Christmas Celebration for Freestone County Historical Commissioner at 6:00 p.m. at El Jimador restaurant in Fairfield. Dutch treat.

WED., DEC 4TH
–Chili Supper & Santa Claus in downtown Wortham beginning at 6:00 p.m. Chili plates will be $10 each, served at the Fire Department. Santa Claus will be visiting with kids at the Christmas Tree at Main and 2nd.

THURS., DEC 5TH
–Freestone County Retired Teachers meeting at 11:30 a.m. to include a visit with Tom Maynard, District 10 State Board of Education representative. Light snacks served and $25 door prize to be given away.
–Sip, Snack & Shop from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Fairfield. Participating retailers include Accessories Etc., The Jaded Spade, Brenda’s Closet, Armadillo Emporium, The Twisted Whisk, Trinity Star Art Gallery, Studio 75 Salon, Southern Bound, Dessert by MommaCakes, Kennedy’s Korner, Jenerosity & Phluff, Creations Flowers & Gifts, and The Fairfield Recorder.
–‘Polar Express Wonderland’ at Trinity Star Art Gallery in Fairfield from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Electric trains, Christmas village, student Christmas art, performances by Fairfield Eagle Choir and harpist Diane Repp, and sips & snacks.
–Parade of Lights beginning at 6:00 p.m. down Main Street in Teague, followed by Lighting of Christmas in the Park (8th Ave). Santa visits at the B-RI Railroad. Hamburger Supper ($10 per plate) will be served at Teague Community Center from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., hosted by FUMC of Teague.

–Santa & Mrs. Claus will visit with children at Teague Public Library from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Join them for hot chocolate and cookies.

–Carter BloodCare blood drive at Teague Brookshire Brothers from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. All donors receive a free blanket. Look for the Carter BloodCare bus in the parking lot.
