The Wortham Volunteer Fire Department received a $10,000 donation from the Permian Express Pipeline Wednesday, April 5th at the Wortham fire station.
The fire department plans to use the donation toward their expansion campaign which includes tearing down the building next door to expand their current facilities.
The Permian Express Pipeline system is a joint venture between Energy Transfer Partners and ExxonMobile, comprised of crude oil trunk pipelines and crude oil gathering pipelines.
Energy Transfer Partners is expanding the Permian Express 3 system which includes construction of a new storage tank in Wortham, Texas.
The donation reflects Energy Transfer’s ongoing commitment to being a good neighbor, good business partner and a valued member of the communities in which it does business.
