The Palestine Senior Activity Center, through its travel group the Dogwood Travelers, is sponsoring an Amtrak Vacation September 16 -28, 2019.
If your bucket list has included a trip across Canada on a relaxing train ride, then this one is for you, and though it may seem early to start planning next year’s vacation, we must reserve by November 1, 2018 to be assured roomettes on the train.
This is a round-trip train ride that will depart from Mineola and travel to Chicago, where it will transfer to Amtrak Canada.
Once on Amtrak Canada, we will venture to Vancouver and all across Canada, ending in Toronto, before heading back.
This 12-day train experience will include most meals on the train, comfy roomettes for the whole duration, and lots of opportunities to see the beautiful sights and attractions throughout Canada.
Cost is $4,697 per person for double occupancy with a deposit of $293 required to book a seat. The balance is not due until July 18, 2019.
