Last Monday, November 10, 2025, Fairfield High School students joined Corsicana High School students and multiple first-responder agencies for a county-wide disaster drill at the Freestone County Fairgrounds and Freestone Medical Center.
This large-scale training brought together law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, emergency management, and other response teams to strengthen coordinated response efforts.
Student volunteers served as role players in simulated emergency scenarios, helping first responders practice real-world skills in a controlled environment.
